Markus Ironwood is a student various witchcraft and occult traditions since the early 00s. With an interest in traditional astrology,  botanical magick, and the (Anderson) Feri Tradition, he is open to reading and learning just about anything pertaining to the strange, religious, or mystical. Once the Events Manager at Magus Books and Herbs in Minneapolis, now the newest publicist at Llewellyn Worldwide, he likes to spend his down time playing video games, hitting the gym several days a week, hanging with friends and his boyfriend, and of course reading. Recently, he has started Ironwood Astrology, Instagram account dedicated to traditional astrology and the study of magick.

Mortellus is a lineaged Third Degree Gardnerian High Priestex of the Long Island Line. Presently busy at work on a second book for Llewellyn Worldwide, with the first, Do I Have To Wear Black? Rituals, Customs & Funerary Etiquette for Modern Pagans, which hit the shelves February 8, 2021. In addition to their role as High Priestex, Lady Mortellus is a Mortician, and holds degrees in Design, Education, Fine Arts, and Mortuary Sciences.
